In 2013, Catherine Hiriart opened the second Catherine H. on Parkway in Katonah. Now located one block over on Valley Road, this women’s clothing boutique, along with Indigo and HIM by Catherine H., both on Katonah Avenue, repeatedly hit the mark. Catherine H., which Hiriart describes as “a luxury destination where style meets sophistication,” features European clothing and style, while her men’s store, HIM by Catherine H. (opened four years later), features a casual yet still elegant look. In 2022, she opened Indigo as a response to the shift she saw in our community. Indigo offers a curated collection of premium denim, along with other casual yet elegant items.

Regardless of the style, Hiriart always focuses on fit and quality. Each boutique provides a variety of sizes and styles to fit many body types, allowing customers to dress comfortably and stylishly. She also handpicks each line of clothing, paying special attention to the artistry, quality and craftsmanship. Her choices are elegant, sophisticated and “transcend trends.”

What We Love

Inspired by her childhood in France, Hiriat’s boutiques offer a personalized and customized shopping experience with styling consultations and insightful advice. All three stores are staffed by stylists who prioritize ensuring comfort, proper fit and an “elevated experience.”

Gia Miller is an award-winning journalist and the editor-in-chief/co-publisher of Connect to Northern Westchester. She has a magazine journalism degree (yes, that's a real thing) from the University of Georgia and has written for countless national publications, ranging from SELF to The Washington Post. Gia desperately wishes schools still taught grammar. Also, she wants everyone to know they can delete the word "that" from about 90% of their sentences, and there's no such thing as "first annual." When she's not running her media empire, Gia enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, laughing at her crazy dog and listening to a good podcast. She thanks multiple alarms, fermented grapes and her amazing husband for helping her get through each day. Her love languages are food and humor.
