Pleasantville Music Festival

We proudly served as the digital and social media partner for the 2024 Pleasantville Music Festival.

Prior to the event, we:

  • Conducted an exclusive interview with the festival headliner to build excitement and create a personal connection with the audience.
  • Developed and executed an original and engaging social media campaign that generated buzz and excitement across various platforms.
  • Advertised the festival in our May/June and July/August print editions, extending their reach.

During the event:

  • We were the only print sponsor with a physical footprint, engaging with festival-goers throughout the day
  • Our video team captured footage of each performance and the crowd’s energy.

Post-event:

  • Our captivating sizzle reel captured the event’s vibrant atmosphere and energy, creating a valuable marketing tool for the next year.

Overall, our partnership helped amplify this almost 20-year-old music festival’s presence throughout the community.

SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN

Two Truths and a Lie

We developed and executed a well-received Instagram campaign using the favorite childhood game, two truths and a lie.

Each post focused on a festival headliner, encouraging our audience to guess the lie. The winners, chosen at random, received a ticket to the festival.

PRINT ADVERTISING

Partnering with Pound Ridge.

As one of our early partners, we’ve helped The Pound Ridge Partnership promote their Food Truck Fridays, Harvest Fest, Bake Off and Color Run. Lucky for us, The Partnership has a great sense of humor and is up for almost anything. We’ve blindfolded one of the founding members and subjected him to a taste test, interviewed goats (yes, real goats, with a microphone), thrown color all over one of their members (who was wearing white), conducted video interviews with a member of Blues Traveler and Galactic for their 2022 and 2023 Harvest Fest, etc.

When the 2023 Harvest Fest was cancelled due to weather, we created a video to lift The Partnership’s spirits. We received many personal messages about how our video was the one thing that made them feel better. Here’s one example: The Harvest Fest committee gathered together Saturday night for pizza and beer. We watched your video at some point during the evening, and everyone was blown away, even after having already seen it. All agreed that it was the catalyst that changed how everyone was feeling. Even the vendors!

Music to our ears.

Our partnership with Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts has been a wonderful experience. We’ve proudly participated in their American Roots and Jazz festivals, covered a multitude of concerts and even partnered together to host a student art contest. Whether it’s interviewing some of their biggest performers or covering their numerous community-focused events, we always have an incredible time with the stellar team at this cultural institution.

Playing nice at the Playhouse.

The team at Bedford Playhouse regularly offer entertaining and engaging community events. Whether it’s the Yellow Brick Road Fest, a stellar live musical or dramatic performance, or their highly-anticipated bi-annual gala, there’s a lot happening at this arts center. We enjoy their sense of style and fun, as well as with their willingness to go along with our sometimes unconventional (yet always spectacular) promotional ideas.
