Approachable. Colorful. Creative. Informative. Energetic. Readable. Refreshing.

There’s something for everyone – from kids to seniors.

Connect To is a local media source covering the towns of Bedford, Lewisboro, Mount Kisco, North Salem and Pound Ridge (and all the hamlets inside).

Connect To was founded on the belief that people are made to connect to each other and their local community. Humans were designed to work together, be a resource for each other, collaborate and create bonds. As people, we improve upon our thoughts and ideas through connecting and collaborating. It’s a give and take – it’s about asking and granting. Connections are what make the world go round, and that’s what we’re here for.

Our goal is to connect you to everything that makes our region special. We want to celebrate the people in our community who are doing interesting or extraordinary things. Our articles highlight our beautiful communities and the people who make it work. And we believe that if you live in our community, this magazine is for you.

When someone picks up Connect To to read just one page or one article, they find themselves reading much more. In fact, many read our magazine cover-to-cover. Even elementary school children love Katonah Connect and send us fan mail.

Launched in May 2022, the print version of Connect To has already featured so many incredible people in our towns. We’ve introduced our readers to talented local teens, phenomenal artists, valuable experts, successful business owners and more. Off the pages, we’ve connected many residents with each other, helping them achieve their dreams.

Connect To is so much more than a local magazine – we’re a creative force that tells stories every way we can: print, online, social media, video, etc. We shine a light on the real people of our community – the creative, the inspirational, the thought-provoking, the colorful, the humorous, the sporty and the just-plain-weird folks who shape our towns’ souls.

We want to know you. We want to tell your story.

Our Team

Gia Miller

Gia Miller is an award-winning journalist and content writer who lives in Katonah. Her work has appeared in Parents, The Washington Post, Healthline, Well + Good, Psych Central, SheKnows, SELF and more.

Her first “real gig” was editing a book written by the USDA Forest Services while in college. She remembers nothing about trees, but the scientists were very kind. From there, she’s written for numerous local and national publications on a variety of topics, ranging from health and science to parenting and home design.

She’s never met a brainstorm she didn’t like or a deadline she couldn’t beat. And she says being a journalist is a lot like being an annoying toddler – a good journalist always, and repeatedly, asks “why.”

Gia is also the mom of a strong-willed tween and an equally strong-willed teen (send help!), and she credits her mischievous dog and kind husband with keeping her sane. Some say she has the patience of a saint, others say she’s an excellent listener, and everyone seems to come to her with their problems.

As a co-founder of Katonah Connect, Gia believes that our connections to others are vital to our happiness and success.  She truly enjoys telling the stories of the real people in our towns and creating connections both on and off the page. Ultimately, she’d like to take over the world, but for now, she’ll settle for a good night’s sleep.
