For 33 years, Marc T. Abrams, Ph.D., has provided therapeutic support to adults, families, teens and children experiencing a crisis or life transition. The list of accolades from his nominations included statements like, “he actually listens;” “he takes a personal interest in your wellbeing;” “he is knowledgeable, patient and understanding;” “he’s nonjudgmental;” “he’s changed the lives of me and my family for so many good reasons;” “he has helped more children and parents than I could count;” “he is intelligent, supportive and passionate about his work;” and “he is a leader in his field.”

Abrams doesn’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy; instead, he prioritizes active listening and tailors his approach to fit the client, situation and stated goals. His main objective is to help each client work through their struggles and learn the life skills they need to successfully thrive on their own. Abrams also serves as an executive coach, parent coach and legal conflict coach, applying the same approach.

Gia Miller is an award-winning journalist and the editor-in-chief/co-publisher of Connect to Northern Westchester. She has a magazine journalism degree (yes, that's a real thing) from the University of Georgia and has written for countless national publications, ranging from SELF to The Washington Post. Gia desperately wishes schools still taught grammar. Also, she wants everyone to know they can delete the word "that" from about 90% of their sentences, and there's no such thing as "first annual." When she's not running her media empire, Gia enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, laughing at her crazy dog and listening to a good podcast. She thanks multiple alarms, fermented grapes and her amazing husband for helping her get through each day. Her love languages are food and humor.
