Hope’s Door seeks to end domestic violence and empower victims of abuse by providing a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, therapeutic and legal support. Their shelter provides individuals—adults and children—a safe place to reside away from the threat of violence. All clients, whether in the shelter or not, receive a variety of support, including safety planning, legal counsel, recreational programs and more. Hope’s Door also provides domestic violence education throughout Westchester with the goal of preventing and ultimately ending abuse. All services are free of charge. If you or someone you know is living with abuse, Hope’s Door encourages you to call them.
