I always believed in the impossible.
I had faith in my inability.
I was going absolutely
Nowhere
In a world that closed my doors.
I’d hear them slam shut in my heart
And read the sign “closed forever”
Train has left the station for you
Forever.
But a whistle blows down the line
And a train finally pulls in
The doors open
I step on board.
The train leaves the station
With me riding into a sunset of possibilities
And I laugh because I am going somewhere
At last
somewhere
