Winter whispers softly to my soul

Its silken, icy secrets.

Silent, silent it sings…

Like me.

Secrets softly whispered that teach me

How to be happy in a frozen world.

Icicles reflect the winter’s sun.

Prisms that cast rainbows.

Like me.

Snowflakes twinkle like stars, in a white sky.

They dance in joy and celebration

Like me.

Winter is silent beauty.

It is the promise of spring.

It is potential.

Like me.
