As we relax into spring and look towards summer, I’m always reminded of summer vacations in the Mediterranean region. This cocktail makes those fond memories come to life. I chose a whiskey aged in a sherry cask, as it produces a rich flavor combination of dried fruits, spices and even hints of chocolate. Those subtle flavors come to life with Licor 43’s and Amaro’s citrus notes, along with the lemon and orange juices. It’s a simple recipe that gives you more time to enjoy the beautiful weather.
