SUPPORT CONNECTION, INC. is a not-for-profit organization providing free and unlimited emotional, social and educational support to women, their families and friends affected by breast, ovarian and gynecological cancer. Although our office is in Yorktown Heights, we help people all over the country via our toll-free services and virtual programs. Support Connection was founded in 1996 by two Westchester residents breast cancer survivor Nancy Heller and the late Richard Adamski, who lost his wife Myra to breast cancer. Nancy and Rich noticed a need to support for people affected by breast and ovarian cancer in Westchester, Putnam and beyond. Support Connection offers individual support and information through our one-on-one peer counseling program. This confidential service is free, unlimited, and available nationwide via our toll-free support line or email. Peer counselors are members of our staff and cancer survivors themselves. We also offer support groups, wellness programs, educational programs, and social activities. Support Connection is an independent 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that depends on donations to fund our free, year-round services. We do not receive funds from Relay for Life, Making Strides, American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen, or any other national cancer organizations. We can’t do what we do without you!
