Why she chose them:

“I love the party options, art and screenings they provide.”

What is something you wish more people knew about you and/or your business?

We wish more people knew just how much membership at the Playhouse pays off—literally and experientially. The more you visit, the more you save. And the real magic? Members get early and exclusive access to preview screenings and celebrity Q&As. Most of these sell out—so being a member is basically having a VIP time machine to the best events.

What’s something your business does differently than anyone else?

We’re part cinema, part cultural hub and part social club. With a full bar and a spacious café, the fun isn’t over when the credits roll. Most theaters usher you out after the movie; we invite you to stay, sip, and be social.

Describe your business in three words.

Film. Culture. Connection.

What is the first thing you do when you open for the day?

Coffee. Lots of it.

What’s one thing your customers don’t know you do behind the scenes?

People are often surprised to learn that we’re a small team doing big things. Marketing jumps in with operations, programming helps out with development. Everyone wears multiple hats—sometimes literally. The Playhouse runs on collaboration, creativity, and a little improvisation.

What’s the one thing your business couldn’t function without?

Popcorn. Just kidding… kind of. While our team is essential, what truly keeps the Playhouse running is the energy of our audience. Their laughs, gasps, tears and applause fuel everything we do.

What are your most popular items?

Our La Vie En Rose cocktail steals the show, but don’t sleep on our indulgent snacks. From crispy chicken tenders to savory dumplings, our menu is full of the comfort foods you know you want.

If your business had a theme song, what would it be?

“September” by Earth, Wind & Fire—forever iconic, just like Clive Davis, who’s such a part of our Playhouse story. The song celebrates our grand re-opening in September 2018, and every time it plays, it reminds us of the unforgettable films, inspiring conversations, and incredible patrons who have shaped our legacy.
