In 2022 Ben recorded a half-hour special "An Intimate Evening of Provocative and Deranged Humor" at The Nest rock club, in Brooklyn, NY. In 2024, Ben recently opened for Greg Fitzsimmons. Presented by The Stand-up Westchester Comedy Club - https://StandupWestchester.com QUESTIONS: Is This Venue Handicapped Accessible? YES. And please let us know how we can help you if you need any assistance. What Age is Appropriate For This Comedy Show? Should I Bring My Children? The material comedians discuss may be what you consider 'Adult' material. Anyone under 16 years of age should be accopanied by a parent or guardian. We would discourage you from bringing any child under 11 years old. If you child is age 11-15, and loves dark stand-up comedy (think George Carlin or Sarah Silverman) and you do, too, then we don't have any problem with them coming. However, if you child's only exposure to comedy is watching Seinfeld, Friends, or any situation comedy from TV, please do not assume you will be comfortable with material being discussed. Comedians on the show may discuss ANY aspect of human existence, or non-existence, in the darkest, most absurd way possible More show info available at: https://www.instagram.com/the_ben_asher o r https://www.facebook.com/BenAsherComedy or http://www.benasher.net You can always find out about upcoming "Best of Westchester" wining shows on The Stand-Up Westchester Comedy Club website by going to StandUpWestchester.com . Comedian Bios
Tom Van Horn has been a professional comedian for over twenty years, working regularly at New York venues such as The Comic Strip, Stand-Up NY, Gotham Comedy Club and The Comedy Cellar. He has appeared on Last Comic Standing (NY Semifinalist), AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live, E! Entertainment Television and Fox News “Red Eye” with Greg Gutfeld.
Tom has performed at the Nantucket Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Festival and The NY Underground Comedy Festival.
Sonya Vai was born and raised in New York City but is constantly asked, “Where are you really from?” by drunk men in bars. Sonya’s subversive brand of comedy - challenging not only gender but ethnic and religious stereotypes - has been featured at comedy clubs as well as independent shows across the country.
Sonya recently participated in the CinderBlock Comedy Festival in Brooklyn, NY. Last year she opened for the 'PBS Socal Presents' film screening of the award winning documentary Meet The Patels. She was also on the 'Comedy's Best Kept Secret' tour, performing in 25 shows over 23 days across 21 cities from Las Vegas to New York.
Tayler Yarish is a NYC-based comedian, originally from Baltimore, who’s been making people laugh his whole life. He’s been a featured performer at multiple comedy festivals including New York Comedy Festival, SLO Comedy Festival, Baltimore Comedy Festival, and Charm City Comedy Festival. When he’s not touring around the country, he can be seen nightly at comedy clubs throughout NYC.
Jeff Medoff is a comedian and writer. Originally from Massachusetts, he grew up drawing comic strips and playing the bass guitar in local bands. He wanted to be a doctor but decided not to after discovering his passion for comedy (and not because he didn’t get accepted to medical school).
Jeff has performed all over the northeast including venues such as Don't Tell Comedy, Comix Mohegan Sun, The Laugh Factory and Laugh Boston. He chosen as a Comic Sit-In at The Riot Theater in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, and from 2019 to 2021 he co-hosted ‘The Hardly Working Podcast’, a show with musician and friend Nick Russo.
Jeff moved to Brooklyn in 2021 and can now be found on stage nightly throughout New York City, though he frequently returns to his New England roots for comedy and Celtics games.
Ben Rosenfeld's comedy is “playfully dark, seriously smart.” Ben’s comedy blends his family’s experience as Russian Jewish immigrants in America with his philosophical and political observations and unique characters. Ben has been seen on BuzzFeedVideo and is slightly “TikTok famous” with over a quarter-million followers and 100 million views. He’s also appeared on FOX’s Laughs, Travel Channel’s Mysteries At The Museum, CBS This Morning, Nat Geo’s Brain Games, Netflix’s Brainchild, NPR’s Weekend Edition, FOX News Saturday Night, SiriusXM Radio, The New York Post and been featured as TimeOut New York’s Joke of the Week. He has twice headlined at Caroline’s on Broadway, hosted at the Lincoln Center and performs nightly in New York City. Ben has five comedy albums and two illustrated humor books.
