Turn up the heat and FaceTime my grandsons.

Being compassionate to chapters in life: to all the stages and changes we are all going through.

A strawberry Dum Dum lollipop for my grandson, in case he asks for it
What’s something you do that seems small but makes a huge difference?
Water… I always have it. In the studio for the clients or for myself.
What was your “I made it” moment?
When I have it, I will let you know. 😉
Tell us about your favorite local spot.
I love Bagel Emporium. They are open at the crack of dawn, always with a smile and an enormous, delicious iced coffee. I have been going there for 30 years.
If you weren’t doing this, what would you be doing instead?
Considering I never thought I would be doing this, I can honestly say I have NO idea.
What’s the best advice you ever received?
How to shake someone’s hand.
How do you celebrate a big win?
I stay with Inside myself.

Precision, flow and breath. (IFYKYK)
If your business had a theme song, what would it be?
No music in Pilates….breathing is the theme song.
What’s the funniest customer request you’ve ever received?
Heated mats, which I have looked into.
What’s your business’s unofficial motto?
Movement heals….keep moving.
What’s your dream customer reaction?
“Thank god for Breathe.”
What’s something your business does differently than anyone else?
I don’t know what other studios do, but I do know that we connect to each other, we laugh, we hug and we work hard!
What’s the smallest detail your customers notice—or that you hope they notice?
We are a community not just a studio.
What’s the one thing your business couldn’t function without?
The instructors are what makes it work! Hands down.
What’s one thing people often say when they first walk in?
There are many reactions…those who have never seen the equipment before the reaction is usually what omg does all this do. There is usually excitement.
What’s the unsung hero of your business?
The history and the Pilates system itself is its own unsung hero.
What is something you wish more people knew about you and/or your business?
That Breathe exists and Pilates and yoga are good for you. No matter what age.
