Educators’ Preview with Artist Damien Davis

Educators are invited to a preview of KMA's spring exhibition There Is A Body, followed by a hands-on art workshop led by artist Damien Davis. Davis uses symbols and icons to deconstruct and reimagine themes of identity, representation, and hopes for the future. He will discuss his current installation Stellar Reverberations: African Masks in Outer Space and lead participants in an exploration of kinetic sculpture techniques that they can take back to their learning environments.
