Herbal Apothecary: Build your own Nature's First Aid supply, Make and Take

D.I.G. Farm

Led by herbalist Livia Fleming. In this hands-on and practical session we will start building your own backyard apothecary with focus on supporting digestion and lymphatic flow. Each session we will harvest and prepare different herbs in specific ways, utilizing leaves, seeds, roots or bark. You will learn to make your own herbal infusions, decoctions, syrups, tinctures and more. Our day together will end with a mini tea workshop and herbal tea tasting. The herbal series is part of Wild Roots, an Initiative of the nonprofit D.I.G. Farm! Check out this class and others here: REGISTRATION LINK for this season's DIG Farm classes and events

You will leave with recipes, products, and confidence!

Bring a collection bag or basket, notebook, and appropriate clothing.

Most appropriate for 16+, younger participants with adult supervision.
In case of bad weather, the event will be held indoors.
