DELIGHTS & DANCES

Join us for the "official" kick off of the RSO's 60th anniversary season as the orchestra takes the stage at The Ridgefield Playhouse to perform three marvelous works! Opening the concert is the lively Dances of Galánta by Hungarian composer Zoltán Kodály. Next on the program is the enchanting Delights & Dances,written in 2007 by living American composer Michael Abels, and featuring the RSO Quartet (principal string players) as soloists with the orchestra. Closing out the performance will be Beethoven's Symphony No. 3 "Eroica", (Italian for "heroic"). A concert not to be missed!
